Let’s Party Tonight

Let’s Party Tonight is now released on most music distribution platforms. This song was my second submission for the Monthly.com Course “Songwriting and Music Production with Ryan Tedder”. I cannot tell you where this song inspiration came from, because I am not very well versed in country music as the arrangement shows. I figured that some country artist might be interested in expanding it and doing it better. I will say that I was going back in my mind to the summer camps where we took high school students for a great week in the mountains of Colorado and Georgia/Tennessee. We never tell the kids that they will be square-dancing one of the nights, but it ends up being one of the best nights of camp. One of those dances was “Oh, Johnny, Oh”. I also pay homage to Tulsa, Garth Brooks, and the Cains Ballroom. I can guarantee that my dad saw Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys at the Cains more than once.
